The Food Pantry has moved to a larger facility!!!!!
The new location is on West Boiling Spring Road in Boiling Spring Lakes.
Operations began Tuesday, July 29th, 2008, at the new location.
Regular Food Pantry hours will remain the same:
- Tuesdays, 9 AM - 12 Noon
- Thursday evenings, 6 - 7:30 PM
- Saturday, 9 AM - 12 Noon

Southport Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship Supports Food Pantry
The Southport Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship, a coalition of 18 area churches along with over 200 volunteers, minister to needy families in Southport, Oak Island and Boiling Spring Lakes with a Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry is located at West Boiling Spring Road, Boiling Spring Lakes. The hours of operation are Tuesdays and Saturdays 9:00AM - Noon and Thursday evenings 6:00 to 7:30. Residents must provide photo identification to prove residency and fill out Application and Income Verification forms.
The Food Pantry has served 22,226 persons in 2007 and has maximized its current space. A much needed new location/facility will provide adequate space to serve the over 450 families monthly.
The Food Pantry and its volunteers (food pickup persons, food buyers, pantry workers, and intake computer workers) continue their commitment to serve those in need.
